How to get a good night's sleep

A good day starts with a good night's sleep. With that in mind, I am thinking of changing to a memory foam mattress. However, I'm a little apprehensive about the heat as memory foam products may retain body heat, which could make them less comfortable in warm weather.

What's memory foam you might ask. Memory foam molds to the body in response to heat and pressure thus evenly distributing body weight. The foam then returns to its original shape once you remove the pressure.

Many consumers have heaped praises on memory foam mattresses and have creditted them to their good night's sleep. Contrary to popular belief that a hard mattress is better to alleviate back pain, memory foam mattresses have proven to be more comfortable.

From my research, it looks like there are more pros than cons in relation to memory foams which makes it easy coming to a decision.

  1. Many of this kind of stuff coming out. My missus bought some pillows, supposed to be good for health or what...but since we started using, I have not been sleeping well. Will have to go and get some simple ordinary pillows soon - I'm not used to such stuff. Old man, old school.

    1. Maybe it's the heat that's causing it. Hope the replacement pillow will give you better sleep.

  2. Been sleeping on the floor for donkey years so used to the hardness until recently need to get a bed after tying the knot. Went for the hardest coconut stuff mattress and still feels not that hard enough compared to the cement floor haha.

    1. Did you say for years? And no foongsup (rheumatism) problem?

      There really is a lot of dampness esp on cement floors. Try putting unopened durians on the floor overnight. You will get moist fruits the day after.
