'Not medically tr...Hey Robin, thanks for yr input. 'Not medically true' is rather harsh and debatable I should think. Whose medicine, western or oriental? One good example is 'rice'. For the Chinese, if one has a fever, the advice is to avoid rice but according to the western doctor, the patient can eat anything, rice included.

You are right though about not to believe all the things you read on the Internet. A lot of the things I posted are from well-meaning friends who received them from their well-meaning friends and so on. The wise thing to do is to use discretion and logic. Thanks again. I know of cancer-stricken folks who couldn't accept the fact and they didn't survive the fight. I also know of people who are really positive and take pains to fight it and they're still around.

I read an interesting article (I have it archived somewhere and will post it when I find it) about the importance of avoiding dairy products to starve cancer cells. The article is actually from a survivor. She has published a book on it too.HappySurferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01444290549991093661noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9814112.post-1134633527808091092005-12-15T15:58:00.000+08:002005-12-15T15:58:00.000+08:00No.11e is debatable lah! She also underwent some chemotherapy (after boosting her system) and surgery. She survived and is free of cancer now.
