Thanks and ...Hi Mick, good to hear from you again. Thanks and glad you enjoyed the little account.

Yes, Muar Town is indeed south of PD or Port Dickson. You hit the shores of Malacca before Muar Town. You do have a great memory, Mick.

I think Muar was not a target because of the shallow waters which are not suitable for warships. The Japanese occupation was done from the south through Singapore.HappySurferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01444290549991093661noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9814112.post-16884989572413818442007-07-06T20:21:00.000+08:002007-07-06T20:21:00.000+08:00HI Happysurfer.Your ‘A weekend visit to Muar tow...HI Happysurfer.

Your ‘A weekend visit to Muar town - Part 1’ for me 5-stars, fantastic but there again I’m a travel log nut, I love reading about other interesting countries and places,[looking forward to part two]. - More photographs please.
I never visited Muar Town when I was in Malaya, Port Dickson was the place we went too the most, I think Muar Town is just south of there ????
Hope all's well.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9814112.post-2724277939978822862007-07-06T15:29:00.000+08:002007-07-06T15:29:00.000+08:00Sulee, they were indeed yummy especially when eate...Sulee, they were indeed yummy especially when eaten hot and fresh.

Robin, thank you for the notification.
