NOT too long ago, a friend who had returned to the United States after his first visit to Malaysia sent me the customary postcard, which I thought would state his awe at being so close to the towering Petronas Twin Towers or even of the sandy beaches he had gone to.
I expected him to perhaps even gush about the cultural shows I had him attend or talk about the moments spent at the Muzium Negara. Well, he didn’t even mention about how much he had enjoyed the fresh seafood near the Klang harbour.

Seems like nothing in Boleh Land can impress your friend who came back from US. His motto is probably: Been there, done that, took the photographs, bought the T-shirt. People with such a motto are the hardest to impress. Nothing or almost nothing awes or impresses them anymore.
