Here in Malaysia, December is normally regarded as the holiday month as many parents schedule their family vacation in December because of the year-end school holidays. Schools are closed for seven weeks and will re-open after Jan 1.
However, the weather can be cold this time of the year in the Northern Hemisphere so people try not to venture too far north or holiday in Australia or the neighbouring regions. There are exceptions, of course. My colleague and her family will be going to the west coast of the US and was asking if I have any information on any hotel in Vegas. I pointed her to a few hotel websites. Isn't the Internet wonderful?
