Red Hot Chicks

Red hot chicks says the title. What were you thinking! The mother-bird must have scouted around and found this sweet spot to be warm and safe enough for her chicks. Wonder if the eggs were also hatched here, whose heat from the traffic lights could probably be close enough to heat generated by incubators.

This shot is The Star's Thumbnail winner of the day on April 29 contributed by Ang Kian Eang. Cute enough to stop traffic, indeed. Good job there!

  4. Lina, clever mommy bird picked the red/stop light so that it gives motorists a chance to stop and enjoy the lovely sight. :)
