Was doing housekeeping on my PC and chanced upon some
wallpapers. You may already have them in your system
but may not have noticed them. These are the few I like.
Azul
Ascent
Wind
Tulips
Ripple
Stonehenge
No idea why this is titled "Peace"
And this is "Power" (The fuschia gives it the oomph?!)
This is "Red Moon Desert"
Purple Flower (I like the purple against the aqua.)
Those are nice. I don't have a PC so never saw them before. I like the catamaran and island, also the moon rise.
ReplyDeleteI change my desktop every month or two - right now I have a picture of a lotus blossom that I took in nearby Itako. Other times I have my grand daughter's picture, or K, or Fiji or various airplanes.
Wallpapers?? Ah..I’ve a nice one in my PC too. That’s me dressing in Kimono. :-)
ReplyDeleteWhere in the world did you find those???!?
ReplyDeletemoody,
ReplyDeleteerm... in Windows desktop properties?
hehe... My current desktop is a photo i took during our stonehenge trip, but I decided to confuse ppl with lots of annoying fake icons in the background... my flatmate nearly strangled me as he waded in the sea of non-functioning icons.
annoying desktop
Hello Everyone.
ReplyDeletePandabonium, yes, that's a pretty picture - an idyllic island and I was wondering what would one be able to do if one is stranded on this tiny island with just three coconut palm trees. Lots of creativity would have to come into play.
The catamaran does add an element of fun to the picture, doesn't it?
Pinkpanther, that sounds like one attractive wallpaper.
MM, these are Microsoft wallpapers, I think. Mine are lodged in the "Windows/web" directory. On yours they may be somewhere else. You may want to check out YD's suggestion though. I suppose every PC is configured differently.
I've added a few more wallpapers, even one on Stonehenge.
YD, that annoying desktop is annoying alright but kinda cute. Thanks for sharing.
That's bizarre...
ReplyDeleteThis Sony Vaio desktop has those same pictures in its stock (though I was using other picture sources all along, so I never knew), but the laptop I use at work (also a Sony Vaio with Windows XP) only has a couple of them.
That's cheap!!!!!
YD, your desktop is a classic!
emmmm ... i prefer my own wallpapers actually *ahem* ;)
ReplyDeleteMM, mine is Windows XP. I think it could be tech support's doing to load in as many or less.
ReplyDeleteMM, to each his own. ;)
so nice..
ReplyDeletedo u change your wallpaper often too..
after a while, a bit sian.. hmmm.. if you like roses today, will you like roses forever.
