Happy Thanksgiving!

For Friends near and far,

May your Thanksgiving be blessed with
The Bounty of the Season
The Love of Family and Friends
A Harvest of Smiles.

And may the vibrant beauty of the season
Make your home bright with laughter and togetherness.

PP, thank you and thanks for sharing that cute song.

PandaB, Malaysia doesn't celebrate this day but we have a Labour Day or sometimes referred to as Workers Day on May 1st which is a national holiday.

  9. For those of us sadly deprived of Thanksgiving celebration, thank you from the bottom of my heart!

(Do you celebrate Thanksgiving in Malaysia?!?)

  10. MM, you are most welcome. Frankly, I felt a tinge of sadness reading your "sadly deprived" bit. Could you not go ahead and celebrate it with your family - your wife and children? I believe Thanksgiving is one of the major celebrations in the West and to be sadly deprived of it is really heart-breaking. I hope you will have a better Thanksgiving celebration next year onwards.

As to your question, the locals do not celebrate it but I believe Christian expats here do as supermarkets and hypermarkets keep a healthy stock of frozen turkeys. And of course, hotels do a roaring business catering to expats and locals alike.
