CCTV on Traffic in Kuala Lumpur
For some of us, traffic jams contribute a big part to our daily stress, twice a day going through traffic congestion to and from work.
Wouldn't it be helpful if we have an idea of traffic conditions before we leave home in the morning or the office after work?
This knowledge would allow us the option of taking a different route to avoid the hassle of getting to work in a less stressed out state.
Folks in Kuala Lumpur now have this advantage of knowing traffic conditions ahead of time, day or night, thanks to the CCTVs installed by City Hall. The pictures are realtime and get updated every minute on your screen.
For overseas friends and folks living outside Kuala Lumpur, you can now get to see a little bit of parts of Kuala Lumpur. Here is where you can access realtime CCTV KL Traffic.
I was told this system has also been installed for Penang but unfortunately, I do not have the site address. If you do have the link, would appreciate it if you could share it with us in the comments block. Thanks in advance.

YD, you are welcome. A wonderful aid, I agree. Even for one who doesn't need it yet, it's still a cool plaything, wouldn't you say? Like I indicated to LB, it could also be a cure for homesickness as in when you feel homesick, just visit this site and you'll be brought back to Malaysia. How cool is that?
ReplyDeleteZ, yeah, once you are on the road and caught in a jam, there is no escape. This is embarrassing, but sad to say even our highways in KL are jammed at times.
