Soccer is a popular sport all over the world. The English Premier League plays a big part contributing to its popularity. Shops selling the EPL club attires and accessories are doing a roaring business with a broad fan-base here. I see a lot of fans of Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool donning their jerseys.
If you are a soccer fan, a supporter of Manchester United and a big fan of Cristiano Ronaldo, I found this website that will interest you. It is a Cristiano Ronaldo fansite. Know all you want to know about this young talented Portugese soccer star who is currently playing for Manchester United. Watch videos and get latest news and regular updates on him plus links to other resources.
Now if only soccer fans would stop killing each other.
ReplyDeleteAs if the regular hooliganism weren't bad enough, it seems like after just about every FIFA World Cup tournament at least one soccer player winds up getting murdered by a disappointed fan. During the 2002 World Cup a whole village in Africa wound up getting raided and burned because it was mainly populated by people from a country that had just defeated the local team.
And now all soccer-related events are banned until further notice in Italy, the last World Cup winner, because a rioting fan threw a bomb into a police car, killing an officer.
It seems that, worldwide, soccer is second only to religion in terms of body count.
