Jalan Ampang will be closed Sunday

The Star reported late this evening that Jalan Ampang will be closed Sunday to facilitate police operations during the illegal gathering organised by the Hindu Rights Action Force (Hindraf) at the British High Commission here.

Due to the road closure, other major roads leading to Jalan Ampang will also be affected and motorists are advised not to enter the city centre. The road will be closed from 8am. Massive traffic jams are expected due to road closure and traffic diversions. In another story, teachers and students are warned not to attend the gathering.
