Argentina is out - Twitter is down

Don't cry for me, Argentina!

Oh dear, Argentina's exit from the World Cup must have caused Twitter's over-capacity. What a shock! Argentina was thrashed 4-0 by a younger more dynamic Germany team.
Germany has beaten three teams with a 4 goal scoreline. They beat Australia 4-0, England 4-1 and now Argentina 4-0. Which team next?

Come to think of it, I remember saying If Germany continues to play like that, they might win the World Cup after they beat England. Whether this will come true, we'll know shortly.

  2. Are you a football fan too, Happysurfer?

I can't wait for everything football to end. They screen it live every single day on two channels. But at least I still can watch wimbeldon live. Football is driving me nuts!

  6. Foong, I was too. I thought the finals would be between Brazil and Argentina. Alas, not to be.

Ao Shiang, LOL! Football is driving you nuts? I'm only keen on the EPL, i.e., the English Premier League, and the World Cup series. Patience, my lady, all will be over in a few days. Btw, ten-pin bowling is the other game I watch on tv.

  7. Mei Teng, indeed. Do you like this song too? I quite like this version by Sinead O'Connor. Give it a listen.

I totally agree with you, Mockingbird, and we shall see.

  8. Bananaz, yeah, a lot of upsets - a lot of people lost money, I'm sure. No handicap needed even.
