December 21 - No "End of the World"

Dec 21, no end of the world. Are you disappointed?

It sure was good to wake up with the sun shining outside my window this morning. Did you think the world would come to an end yesterday as what has been interpreted from the Mayan calendar? The joke is probably on us.

Like the calendar we have in the kitchen on Dec 31, the Mayan calendar could have been something similar. If that were the case, today is the start of a brand new year in the Mayan calendar.

A new day, a new life. This video is amazing to watch. It shows a child being born on a bus in China. I salute the mother who took it so coolly. Read the story here.

We survived! It sure calls for a celebration! Have a wonderful, wonderful weekend ahead, everyone!

  1. Wei using the same calendar as Bananaz. Looking out for the races on weekends or like Bananaz keeping track on 1st & full moon? haha

    1. The races? haha..

Love this calendar for the lunar dates. Feel more comfortable knowing what and when.

Using this for 1st and full moon dates for you?

  2. So the baby gotta a free ride on bus for life as what I heard for child born in airplane. The mom is truly super cool glad both mom & baby are OK. See that is nature just like any animal giving birth but human need something more extra comfort in hospital or clinic. Actually there are also news of death during complicated child birth but swept under the carpet.

  5. I was almost disappointed that nothing happened. We didn't even have a smallish earthquake in Japan. As far as I know.

Oh well. It was a good excuse to eat lots of chocolate, just in case I never get that chance again! :)

  8. The Mexicans said that the whole world misunderstood the statement. It's the end of an era, something like end of a zodiac sign. Not an end of the universe.

THe universe will not end in billion of years.
