..but disappointed with Google's doodle this Christmas. Don't they know it's Christmas?
Someone forwarded an old video for Christmas. Thought you might also get a thrill from seeing old familiar faces including Paul Young, Boy George, Sting, George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley of Wham!, Phil Collins, Bob Geldof (of course) and others. Enjoy!
Band Aid 1984 - Do they know it's Christmas
errr, why are you disappointed with google?? well, to them, happy holidays means christmas, and i do find christmas elements in the doodle, haha!!
ReplyDeletemy all time favorite christmas song is "have yourself a merry little christmas".. :)
Don't know if you have noticed or read about that religious holidays are being played down in some countries on the idea that they will "offend" certain sections of the society.
DeleteI don't have a favorite Christmas song. Any Christmas song is a good song for the occasion.
Just learned this recently from a college mate who is a Christian but don't celebrate Xmas so to them its 'happy holidays'. Love the Band Aid video seeing the old timers rock. You have a blessed Merry Xmas & Happy Holidays. God bless.
ReplyDeleteThe world will be a better place if everyone exercises a little more accommodation and compassion instead of pushing through one's own agenda, don't you think?
DeleteThat's a nice video, isn't it? The last time I checked, it has been taken off the air due to some copyright issue. Will have to replace video with one that's permitted. Hope you've had a great holiday.
Ya, I prefer the Band Aid original of the song from Christmas 1984.
ReplyDeleteI like the video too but too bad it has been taken off air, as what I told Bananaz. Glad you had the chance to watch it before it was taken off.
DeleteMerry Xmas! I know it's a bit late but better to be late than never haha! Besides, I'm still in Chrismassy mood! : )
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you too, Foong. Hope you are having fun!
