For safety purposes, nowadays it is rather rare to see ladies decked up in lavish precious gold and diamond jewelry in broad daylight unless it is for a formal function such as a wedding reception or a function that requires some pomp.

For the guys, they wear less jewelry though they may pleasure themselves with rings. A colleague who wears a ring on almost all his fingers shared some insights as to his obsession.
