A Vacation home provides more flexibility

Nowadays, people plan better for holidays or at least they know exactly what they want with regard to going on a holiday.

We were talking about holidays at breakfast last week and the choice between free-and-easy option versus a guided tour. Most of us prefer to go on a guided tour, me included. The thinking is when we go on a holiday, it is supposed to be enjoyable and not having to run around (albeit on the Internet) searching for the best travel packages, itineraries, hotel and transportation reservations and the like.

Most of us at breakfast agreed that free-and-easy is preferred when there is a friend or friends in the holiday destination familiar with the place. On a free-and-easy vacation, vacation homes do work well as they are something like a home away from home. I came across some Vacation homes in Kissimmee, Florida, online recently and thought they would make great accommodations on a trip to Disneyland. Staying in a vacation home would allow for more flexibility in schedules and could significantly reduce the holiday expenditure.

What about you? Would you prefer to stay in a vacation home instead of a hotel room?

In the Summertime..

With sunshine all year round, it's easy for us to not be aware of the changing seasons in other parts of the world. In the northern hemisphere, for instance, lots of holidaymakers are perhaps all set for their summer vacation at popular holiday destinations all over the world. Malaysia included.

Those with timeshare membership are most likely to have made reservations months ahead. Orlando is a popular holiday destination and an orlando timeshare membership would surely come in handy in securing the desired accommodation. Will you also be part of the holiday exodus?

Orlando Vacations

Coming across these packages for orlando vacations sure reminded me of a visiting colleague from the US. He managed to talk a few of us into planning a trip to Disneyworld and we were supposed to hire a vehicle so that we could see more places and do more driving from the west to the east. Yeah, big dreams, but it all came to a halt when he passed away due to heart failure. That was many years ago. We still talk of him with fond memories.

Time for a Vacation

The school holidays are just around the corner. Families would already have made their holiday plans and confirmed their reservations, some as far ahead as a year ago. Is there a downturn? I don't think so! At least not for everyone.

Some months back, an office-mate was checking out dates for her Disney vacations. One of them is this 4-day 3-night package which includes 2 Seaworld/Aquatica tickets. If one just need rooms, some are going for as low as $19. Unbelievable but true.
