An auto accessories shop always fascinates me. I'm fascinated by the myriad items that are available in such a shop. Inventory-taking must be quite a task, I imagine.

The other day, I tagged along a colleague to an auto accessories shop and had the chance to be up close browsing through the rows and rows of auto and motorbike parts. Who was it who said that in any calamity there is an opportunity or something to that effect? Take for instance, the flood on Monday which could have caused some damage to vehicles stalled in the flood. A family friend who owns a chain of shops dealing in auto accessories would do a roaring business everytime "Venice came to town" as how LB put it. At least someone is glad.
