Here is another young Korean talent who is fast gaining popularity and whose audition video is going viral online on You Tube.
The 15-year-old Park Ji-Min, a Korean reality-show contestant on “K-Pop Star,” an American Idol-like singing competition, even had Ashton Kutcher tweeting: this is AMAZING!!!! and WSJ asking Is Park Ji-Min the Next Susan Boyle?

Choi Sung-bong is the other Korean talent who got the world watching. In the final, Choi lost out to popping dancer, Joo Min-jung who won the grand prize of 300 million won and an automobile.
After being pleasantly surprised by Choi Sung-bong's performance in June and hearing him share his sad childhood, everyone must be rooting for him to win Korea's Got Talent 2011.
The grand finale was held last Saturday, Aug 20. Choi garnered the second most number of votes.

The winner of second season CGT (China's Got Talent), one of China’s most popular reality TV shows, is a 19-year-old popper. Zhuo Jun, enthralled the audience at the four-hour-long China's Got Talent finals held at Shanghai Stadium on Sunday, Jul 10. Susan Boyle was among the performing guest artistes.
According to CNNGO: Growing up on the farm in Guangxi Province, Zhuo Jun only started popping two years ago. He learnt purely by imitating Michael Jackson and Korean star Poppin Hyun Joon on TV and through the Internet.
Zhuo is also the only university student in his village.
The 19-year-old was crowned champion after beating seven other contestants in a four-hour long final competition in Shanghai Stadium in the rain.
Zhuo Jun told a reporter from Tencent that he had decided to stick with his studies after winning the show.

Look what I found on YouTube today! After my post on the whiz boy-pianist who sings like Lady Gaga, a lot has been happening for this sixth-grader, roughly 13-year-old, I think. Even Ellen DeGeneres is getting in on the act, and Yamaha too who has presented Greyson with a brand-new Yamaha piano after they saw the one he's been banging on in the video. Ellen presented him with a $10,000 check and has signed him up for his first recording. She said she's inspired to set up her recording company after seeing him perform.
Once in a while, if I need a dose of real-life fairy tale, I'd google and watch videos on Paul Potts and Susan Boyle all over again.
If you recall, Paul Potts (who sings opera) won Britain's Got Talent one year while Susan Boyle stunned everyone with her amazing singing and almost won Britain's Got Talent last year. Both of their videos garnered millions of visits.
The same traffic is seen this time on Kseniya Simonova's video - more than 2.9 million and counting. Ms Simonova, 24, is a sand artist and moved audiences to tears on the way to winning the 2009 Ukraine's Got Talent competition. Here's the video.
Miss Simonova's talent performance (for lack of a better term) was on sand art or more appropriately, sand animation. She draws a series of pictures on an illuminated sand table showing how ordinary people were affected by the German invasion during World War II. The image is projected onto a large screen.
Her artistry begins with her creating a scene of a couple sitting on a bench holding hands under a starry sky, but warplanes spoiled the happy scene.
It is then replaced by a woman’s crying face. A baby arrives and the woman smiles again. Once again war returns and Miss Simonova portrays this by throwing sand chaotically from which a young woman’s face appears. She quickly becomes an old widow, her face wrinkled and sad, before the image turns into a monument to an Unknown Soldier.
This outdoor scene becomes framed by a window as if the viewer is looking out on the monument from within a house.
In the final scene, a mother and child appear inside and a man standing outside, with his hands pressed against the glass, as if saying goodbye.

Over here, we don't get to see on tv Britain's talent show, Britain's Got Talent, so besides Paul Potts and others in the same season, I am practically in the dark about other talents in that talent show. I could go on YouTube or others, of course, but just didn't.
The latest participant that has got a lot of web attention is Susan Boyle. Her performance had the audience on their feet and the three judges totally amazed. Simon Cowell's one of the judges. According to Yahoo! she's already meeting with officials from Mr. Cowell's Sony BMG label.
Susan Boyle is 47 years old, never been kissed and lives alone with her cat, Pebbles.
She sang "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Miserables. This certainly won't be the last you hear of Susan Boyle.
