Cooked poultry safe from bird flu risk - WHO

PETALING JAYA: No new case of bird flu was reported in the last
two days, and all those warded have returned home,...

I actually started eating chicken again after an abstinence of
some two weeks. However, some of my friends are still not touching
any of it. I figured if WHO indicated that cooked poultry does
not transmit the flu then there's really nothing to worry about.
Still, I'm not taking any chances. Am just taking chicken that
is cooked over an extended time.
