H1N1 Update - India & Malaysia
India is struggling to cope with the spread of swine flu, with at least 17 deaths confirmed from the virus and nearly 1,200 diagnosed cases. The outbreak has caused panic in much of the country, with schools, theaters and shopping malls closing in many places.
That is the scenario in India. Over here in Malaysia, there have been 44 deaths and close to 2000 people infected. Even the Regent of Pahang’s consort and five children are down with H1N1.
Be well..

It's getting worse right? No one can stop it. Even the royalties get it. =/
ReplyDeleteLooks like it. Maybe we should stay at home more and avoid crowded places.
ReplyDeleteTo make it worse, we are fast approaching the lunar seventh month. Know what that means?
The H1N1 is certainly mutating into some more tougher. We just have to take all the precautionary measures we can until the vaccine comes out next month or so.
ReplyDeleteHi Gallivanter, thanks for stopping by. My family doctor says he already has the vaccine though he is very careful to issue it only to people infected and not as a preventive measure.
ReplyDeleteSwine Flu is a horrible disease. I hope India and it's neighbours manage to stop it spreading.
ReplyDeleteI hope so too. Thank you for stopping by, India.
