Flood in Haadyai

If you were in Haadyai yesterday, you may be one of those wading through floodwaters like in the picture above. Tourists and residents were trapped by floodwaters caused by heavy rains which battered the tourist island of Koh Samui and the southern city hub of Haadyai.

Haadyai brings back memories of the "tiger show" we went to. Strangely, we had to go in by the back-door but after the show, we were ushered out through the front which was actually a bar or a club sort of.

  2. Not just Haadyai. Northern Malaysian states were also flooded, though not as bad...

  5. It is one of the most devastating flood of the recent time. The massive destruction of property and the immense death toll was beyond expectation.
