Bacon, yum! Sinful, I know.. but I not so love about having to clean up after the frying. However, I just found out about cooking bacon the microwave way. This is a great discovery for me. If you are like me loving the eating but not the cooking, watch the video to see how it's done - cooking bacon the easy-peasy way.
Huh! Really? I've always thought Japan is a pork-eating country with a lot of international fare like bacon, cheese and so forth. Not so, huh?
As for whole wheat bread, we have no problem with this too. Bakeries now cater to the health-conscious citizenry. So do supermarkets and hypermarkets.
Our supermarkets here mostly don't sell pork. We can find them only in very selected (read 'few') supermarkets in a little obscure corner labelled 'Halal' but they are more expensive than at the wet market. However, there is no bacon at the wet market so we still have to get that from the supers.
the no-fuss way means somebody else cooks the bacon for me, and i just eat!! hahahaha~~ :D
ReplyDeleteHey! Not fair! But then again, who can beat some people with all the luck.
DeleteNever mind how to cook it! Tell me where I can *find* real bacon in Tokyo. Drool, oh drool ...
ReplyDeletePS: Bacon, cheese and whole wheat bread. I'd kill for cheap, good, real versions in Tokyo. Sigh.
