Mari Mari Mengundi (literally means to cast your vote) is a catchy number that was composed in one of the general elections way back when and this year, the Elections Commission has it revived in a new joget tempo - good for the dance floor, actually. Give it a listen to see if you like it too.
Remember, the date is May 5!

DeleteHaha! New twist to the mengundi song? Didn't know until I saw this! I guess you need to keep up with the times even for election song! : D
ReplyDeleteFirst saw this on Astro and then looked it up on YouTube. Surprised to find it there, actually. Nice beat, hor? The group reminds me of Black Eyed Peas. Fergie in particular.
DeleteGood thing the voting day is on a Sunday. At least everyone is more free to go and vote! : )
ReplyDeleteDid you know it used to be on a Saturday? I read that some churchgoers are not happy with it being on a Sunday this time around.
