McDonald's Prosperity Burgers

McDonald's is serving these Prosperity Burgers again.Prosperity burgers are served only a month or two before the Chinese New Year (thus its name) for a period of three or four months. I think it's a great idea so that we'll miss them for seven or eight months and then get that zest back for it when it comes around again.

A Prosperity Burger is a longish burger with the patty dipped in delicious black pepper sauce.

A colleague has been having these burgers so much that she's beginning to sprout pimples. If the condition gets any worse, she probably will need to get tazorac to alleviate her skin condition.

Are you a fan of McD's Prosperity burgers? Beef or chicken?

  6. Not exactly a fan of prosperity burgers. But I order some other value meals and upgrade normal french fries to twister fries.

    Not a healthy choice, though...

I have never eaten McD's posperity burgers. Somehow they don't appeal to me.

  8. SK, why not, eh, for more prosperity. LOL! Probably removing the onions might help reduce the spiciness.

Bananaz, chicken for you? You don't take beef? I feel the beef patty tastes better. To each his own, of course.

  9. Hi Chris, welcome! Chicken for you too?

Tekkaus, and you too? It's okay lah, something's better than nothing. Same sauce, anyway.

  10. Lina, I agree with you on the reduced size and is it more expensive this year? I'm very bad with comparing prices. Beef for me too.

KS, I didn't know they allow upgrade to twister fries. How much is the top-up? I normally change the cola drink to Milo ice. It's supposed to be a ringgit extra but the receipt reflects a higher amount.

  11. Mei Teng, it's nice and a good change from the regular spread. Can be a bit messy to eat though with the sauce spilling. Give it a try. You may like it.

Try the twister fries for a change. They are only available when the Prosperity burger is available.

  12. I seldom eat McD but I think for the Prosperity Burger, the beef is the best. Still, I think I prefer Big Mac.

And I sort of like the twister fries too, maybe because it's like only once in a year kind of thing.

  13. Foong, the once-a-year availability sure does make the twister fries a hit. But did you know that these fries are available in A&W all-year-round? Unfortunately, A&W outlets are few and far between.
