Monday night was hellish for some KL folks who were caught downtown. Three hours of heavy downpour converted KL into a sea of water as major roads were flooded. If you are familiar with KL, see any landmark you recognise?

ReplyDeletePandaB, both. The unusually heavy downpour lasted three solid hours and our new drainage system, SMART (Stormwater Management and Road Tunnel) was not quite ready. It is expected to be functional next month. This sytem is supposed to take care of flooding in the city.
"not quite ready" - Mother Nature likes to play these little jokes on us.
