Chances are we normally believe what the optician tells us after an eye examination. Right? After a friend's episode, I'm now having second thoughts.
K had her eye-sight checked and was told she has perfect vision. However, we both know better. K actually needs glasses but is risking her life (and others') driving around without any. Well, so much for professional opinion or state-of-the-art equipment.
State-of-the-art?
A man was telling his neighbor, "I just bought a new hearing aid. It cost me four thousand dollars, but it's state of the art. It's perfect."
"Really," answered the neighbor . "What kind is it?"
"Twelve thirty."
That is too funny!
