What to wear in Kuala Lumpur?

Blue skies today! A wonderful change from the overcast weather of the past few days. Temperatures in the Klang Valley/KL have been lower than usual. It was just 26 deg C yesterday as shown on this clock tower along Jalan Tun Razak.
Generally temperatures in the lowlands of Malaysia range between 29°C - 35°C during the day and 26°C - 29°C at night, depending on the amount of rainfall and sunlight. This should answer any visitor's question of, What to wear in Kuala Lumpur?

According to the Malaysian Meteorological Department, the weather pattern is a little erratic and the cool weather is expected to continue into the Chinese New Year. Klang Valley can expect to experience thunderstorms in the afternoon on the first day of Chinese New Year while the skies up north are expected to be clear.

  1. Regardless the weather and temperature, I'm the weird one that always wear layers. Long sleeve over sleeveless blouse. LOL

  4. Lina, in our weather, your choice of clothing could prove to be a wise choice - clothes for sunshine and to keep warm when it rains.

  5. SK, right! Tees and bermudas make great casual wear, all-year-round.

  6. Bananaz, a tropical winter? That'll be the day! But then again, anything is possible after that snowfall in Australia last month - in summer!

    In singlet? So cool..
