Malaysians would be able to identify with what is being portrayed though foreigners would also find the antics hilarious. (However, if you watch it on YouTube, you'd be able to get an inkling of what's going on in Malaysia in the viewer comments.) Give it a watch for a good laugh - watch it till the end for the real laughs.
On a happy note (for some), Psy has declared that he will retire his Gangnam Style performance. Did I hear Hallelujah!? He said it at the Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve 2013.
"Being in Times Square on New Year's Eve is already special — it's the biggest stage in the universe — plus it's my birthday, so, with all that, it may be the ending of 'Gangnam Style,'" Psy told MTV News. "I mean, what better way to do it? It's my biggest and most meaningful birthday."
"The song became too popular, and so you start to have some concern about its life period," he said. "I'm really working hard on a new single right now, and I'm not saying ['Gangnam'] is ending on 'Dick Clark' — I still have a lot of invitations to perform it ... I'll be in Paris, and in February I got invited to perform in China, and I've still got to do promo. So let me say that in America I need a new single because 'Gangnam Style' got too popular, so I've got to write a new single."
Gangnam Style has become the most watched video on the Internet, with more than a billion views on YouTube alone.
Just for kicks, one more time? Oppa Gangnam Style!
(Disclaimer: The DAP Gangnam Style video is just part of a blog post. Putting it up because it's there. No ill intention whatsoever.)
Seen already on youtube the other day. Love Kak Ros especially at the end... Very funny.ReplyDelete
Surprised you just saw it the other day and I thought you've had enough of Gangnam Style? Most hilarious so far, I have to give it that.Delete
Ello strictly no pole dancing in LRT!!!!hahaReplyDelete
LOL. But.. but the pole is so inviting. No?Delete
i have had enough of Gangnam Style!! @_@"ReplyDelete
For me, I've had enough of Psy's Gangnam Style but wouldn't mind watching good parodies. This one is really fun to watch - being in a familiar local context - the other being the Mongolian one.Delete
Went for a luncheon function last Sunday at HGH in Sentul and one of the dance performance by students, you would surely know no need to ask Ah Kwai. Think costumes play an important part to bring out the best of PSYness being students we can't expect too high. A 13 year old boy stole the limelight with his powerful voice, costumes & dance.ReplyDelete
Sorry, liak boh kew, what's HGH or something best kept as an acronym?Delete
Did the boy sing in Korean?
Soli you have slipped on ma peels and missed the ball. Not too sure what HGH Convention Center stands for think and the place able to stage up to almost 120 tables for any sit down dinner. Guess its too cramp perhaps 100 tables would have more room to 'breathe'. Oh the gangnam dance was so-so and the little boy is a separate event on his own singing solo.Delete
As for "No need to ask Ah Kwai" is a Canto figure of speech you know right? Yes?Delete
Yeah, this one I know so no need to ask Ah Kwai also. LOLDelete
Didn't know there is such a convention center in Sentul. Thanks for the update.Delete
Now I know..Delete
Yes hallelujah!! I'm sick of Gangnam style!!ReplyDelete
LOL. You too?Delete
And I doubt Psy can top his Gangnam Style ever! : DReplyDelete
Still, he should be a happy man. Read that he bought an apartment in the US with hard solid cash! And he's still raking in earnings with each video view and parody.Delete
Come to think of it, I doubt if anyone could top his success with his Gangnam Style. He must be under a lot of pressure now on the next single.
LOL saw the videoReplyDelete
