I was passing by a Two Ringgit-shop the other day and noticed a good crowd in there. There was even a queue at the checkout counter with shoppers waiting in line holding on to cutlery and crockery, slippers, men's socks, a mop in a pail, artificial flowers, and a packet of toy weapons (one with a rifle scope as well).
Have you ever shopped in one of these stores? Of course, the products are mostly locally-made but they serve the purpose well. Besides, if you were to buy, for instance garbage-bin liners, at a regular store, you would have to pay more for the same item.
Daiso at The Curve comes to mind, doesn't it? Theirs is RM5 a piece. though their products are mostly imported from Japan and China.
Been ages since I last went to one. ;p
ReplyDeleteMe too. This is a great place for everyday items like garbage bin liners, brooms and such. They are a lot cheaper than the ones at a regular store.
ReplyDeletecan i know where is the 2 ringgit shop located? i am looking for it.
