Bones of dead whale preserved

Do you remember the Bryde's whale, the one that was stranded, rescued and put back to sea and eventually died? Well, its skeletal remains have been salvaged and will be preserved in the museum.

    I wondered what happened to the poor creature. Lost it's sense of direction or too sick to swim back out to sea.

    IML, we'll never know but it is sad but like what LB said, at least it's one famous whale.
