Ever wondered what your children are viewing on the Internet or who they chat with? Or if you are an employer, would you want to know your employees activities online?
Now there are softwares that track computer activities from email to chats to website visits to P2P activity and more. Parents can use such tools to monitor what their children are viewing and the sites they visit. They are also able to know who their children chat with online - whether they are with the right company. Safety of their children is the parents main concern.
In the office, employers will be able to monitor the employees online activities to ensure that they stay within the companies Internet Acceptable Use policy.
Whether it's for the home or office environment, netbus.org would be able to provide you the right keystroke logger to suit your need.
Thanks for the link, useful indeed in home for parents. I'll let my sister-in-law and brother-in-law to know that.
ReplyDeleteAs for employers to monitor the employees online activities..
Absoultely objection!!! We'll lose our privacy 'n perhaps can't let ME blogging in here anymore :-(
PP, you're welcome. Glad you find the link useful. As for office use, it depends on which side of the fence you're on. I think employers need to allow for some privacy for the employees while employees need to ensure that that allowance is not abused. Both parties need to uphold some kind of balance for a happy medium.
