The aftermath of the Sumatra earthquake

Got these images via email but with no comments nor source. Apparently, this hole was created after the recent earthquake in Sumatra. I wonder what stood there before it happened.

In actual fact, this did not happen in Sumatra but in Guatemala. An anonymous reader of this blog alerted me via his comment on this post. You can read more about the sinkhole here.
