Sunday Brunch

I know, it is only the beginning of the week but in case you are thinking ahead and wondering what to do or what to eat on a lazy Sunday, why not check out this new setup at the Nikko Kuala Lumpur Hotel. Then adjourn to the KLCC for some shopping.

For foreign readers or you who are not familiar with Kuala Lumpur, the Nikko hotel is just a short distance away from KLCC. On foot, it will only take ten minutes or so. If you use the main road, you will get to experience the Jalan Ampang traffic, some nice buildings, a Chinese temple (photo opportunity here) and if you decide to take the backway, you will get to view a part of the KLCC Park.

If walking is not your cup of tea, you can always hop onto the LRT (Light Rail Transit) which is just beside the Nikko and KLCC is only one stop away. Convenient, isn't it? And it is only for less than RM1, probably 70sen but I am not so sure. Oops! I make a poor town-guide, don't I?

By the way, Jalan Ampang (Jalan means road in Bahasa Malaysia) is sometimes referred to as "embassy row" for obvious reasons - the French and the Chinese embassies are located on this road and a few others.
