Kuala Lumpur may not be as expensive as Tokyo or London but things here are getting to be pretty costly. And if you take the bus to work, there's more bad news as bus fares will become higher Sept 1..

RapidKL raises bus fare from Sept 1 by 100 percent but those who opt for monthly pass will get betweeen 60 and 80 percent discount.

  1. Oh, yeah. I am one of those people who are sensitive to chemicals. I cannot tolerate perfumes - they make me gag.

  3. PandaB, strong perfumes make me dizzy. Air fresheners in cars make me woozy too.

    Enjoy your watermelon. We are still at durians. Have you tried this king of Malaysian fruits that probably need bottles of perfume to rid the smell of? LOL!

    You get all kinds of fragrances in the office, don't you? I remember I once smelt Harpic when a co-worker breezed by. She paid a tidy sum for that bottle too. Sigh.
