The Mediterranean Diet Plan

Have you heard of the Mediterranean Diet Plan? Since we covered Wedding Dresses and Wedding Gowns in the previous post, we might want to talk a little about being able to fit nicely into the wedding outfit of your dreams.

The Mediterranean Diet Plan helps you follow a diet similar to that of the people in Mediterranean countries.

Unlike other diet plans that restrict you to only protein, no fat, only certain fruits and vegetables, or other unlivable options, the Mediterranean Diet Plan allows you to have healthy fats from fish, olive oil, nuts and seeds, as well as fruits and vegetables. In other words, you get to eat just about every kind of food and still lose weight.

The Mediterranean Diet Plan has been reported as one of three best weight loss programs that dieters not only stick to, but actually enjoy. If you have made yourself olive oil toast with yogurt, blueberries and almonds or lemon pepper salmon with lentil rice and spinach salad, you are already there. These are only two of the recipe options among countless others in the Mediterranean diet plan. Who says dieting can't be fun and natural?

  5. Tekkaus, this is a popular diet plan. I suppose non-dieters like yourself would not be exposed to it.

  7. I believe the Mediterranean Diet Plan is healthy cos we do really need all those healthy fats!

Anyway, just eating one kind of food eg. protein only or carbs only are not healthy.

  9. HappySurfer, that's generally right: you can eat almost all foods when on Mediterranean diet, but you do have to balance your meals and watch your portion sizes if you want to lose weight! :) I like your post!
