What is a Bach Trumpet

I learned something new about musical instruments today.

A bach trumpet is a high quality trumpet named after its inventor, Vincent Bach, a virtuoso trumpet player from Baden bei Wien, Austria.

Bach instruments were originally made in New York City. Manufacturing was later relocated to Mt. Vernon, New York and then to Elkhart, Indiana, where the trumpets continue to be made today.

Bach trumpets may be made in a variety of keys like B-flat, C and D, among others. Bach created instruments made in various keys to facilitate easy access to them by conductors and musicians needing them instead of having to order them from overseas.

Because of their high quality, Bach trumpets are fit for both students and professional trumpet players.
