ReplyDeleteLogos are important, but people don't always remember them. That's where branding comes in.
For example, not everyone may know exactly how AirAsia's logo look like, but many can associate the brand - "red color", "no frills" and "cheap"!

Like you said people don't always remember a logo unless, of course, the ideogram (icon or symbol) is so compelling that it sticks to people's mind. However, a logo need not be a symbol but can be words, e.g., Coca-Cola which is text in red script. Branding makes all the difference.

Logo bears the basic and unique identity of a company. So it is very important to design a well-defined and comprehensive logo for the company. One should only rely on some good company for this job.
