Maritime injury and claims

Kuala Lumpur being an inland city, we don't hear much about water sports, water activities, water-related injuries and the like. Unless one is involved in anyone of them, practically no one talks about boats and stuff, much less maritime injuries and claims.

The other day, I came upon a site about maritime law, injury claims, etc, and the success stories of this legal firm of Texas Maritime lawyers who have helped handle serious injury and wrongful death claims throughout the Gulf Coast region of Texas, in the cities of Houston, Galveston, Corpus Christi, and Port Arthur for injured offshore workers and their families in the recent BP oil spill.

If you're interested to know more, do visit the site. It's got lots of information - Rig explosions, overboard deaths, equipment accidents, diving injuries, unseaworthy vessels, lost wages, General maritime law, Death on High Seas Act, Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act - the whole works. Check it out!

  1. Many marine workers do faces a number of accidents either on duty or off duty. Whatever be the situation, they are often deprived of their claims and benefits. Some of them loose their lives too. So this post is a useful one for them.
