Earth Day activities around the world

Today, April 22, is Earth Day. Google commemorates this important day for Mother Earth with an interactive doodle that features the sun alternating with the moon moving across the sky in a set of day and night images.  Just go to the Google search page to view.

Earth Day is an annual day on which events are held worldwide to demonstrate support for environmental protection. Earth Day is observed on April 22 each year and is celebrated in more than 192 countries every year.
