I am always in awe, no, actually baffled every time I hear or read about our graduates being jobless and not being able to find a job. People here are actually so lucky because there are tons of openings out there in every sector imaginable. Are we perhaps being too choosy, or plain don't know where to look!
I read the other day that there are more than 200,000 new graduates every year and if you don't get on the bandwagon, (read rat race) now, you would have more graduates to compete with year-after-year. Now you know!
Alright, maybe you are looking to work elsewhere. How about charlotte jobs to start with?
Ha! This reminds me of the day when I first graduated. The market crashed in 1997. Finding a job wasn't easy. Many firms would prefer people with experiences.
ReplyDeleteI have to agree that more and more graduates or simply just more and more young people popping up. Not only they have to compete in jobs but in all sort like buying houses, food etc. Everything is more expensive by the generation. Can this earth go on with the increase of population?
There is a doco by David Attenborough on "How many people can live on Planet Earth"? seriously, population needs to be reduced or controlled. Perhaps that's how Climate change all started from.
